Beginning Vocal Technique - Four Sessions

For anyone and everyone who wants to study voice, but may not know where to start. Good for people who have never sung before, or people who have been singing for years but have no formal training. Sessions will focus on breathing, supporting the sound, space, placement, resonance, diction, and ear training.

Learn to Read Music - Four Sessions

Music is a language all its own, and often intimidates people with the multitudes of little black dots and symbols. Over these four sessions KJ Bell breaks music down into six components - form, texture, timbre, dynamic, pitch, and duration - and then breaks those down into digestible pieces. Each session is carefully designed to slowly build up the skills necessary to read music. Whether you have a basic knowledge of music and just want to read better, or have never looked at a piece of music in your life, this class can give you the skills to read music fluently.

An Other Way: Beginning a Creative Life - Four Sessions

This class is designed to help people from all fields and walks of life be more creative. Each of the four sessions focuses on a set of related topics like beginning, doubt, fear, and truth. Writing exercises and group discussions will supplement the work of instructor KJ Bell, to help each participant get more in touch with their inner creative.
